Malaysian Arthroscopy Society (MAS) (SINCE 2023-05)
Malaysian Arthroscopy Society (MAS) was officially form in 2013 by a group of visionaries and pioneers of arthroscopic surgery in Malaysia. Prior to becoming as association on its own, the Malaysian Sports Interest Group was formed under the umbrella of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association in the early 2000s.
Currently 165 orthopaedic surgeons in Malaysia have joined this society, with the aim to strengthen and consolidate the knowledge and expertise in this domain.
The main goals for MAS are:
- - to promote the advancement of the Science, Arts and Practice of Arthroscopy and Related Surgery.
- - to support appropriate educational setting that maintains the highest level of professional standards and to promote continuous advancements in professional knowledge and improved treatment of sports related injuries and arthroscopic skill.
- - to constantly provide our members with latest updates in our field on various accessible platforms.
- - to enhance the relationship between senior and junior surgeons and other health care providers.
- - to also to provide opportunities for our members to elevate and improve their careers.
Thai Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (TOSSM) (SINCE 2024-03)
Thai orthopedic society for sports medicine (TOSSM) was first established as a sports medicine subspecialty society at the Royal College of Orthopedic Surgeons in Thailand in 2008.
TOSSM was founded by Thai orthopedic surgeons interested in the field of sports medicine, and is advancing the art and science of sports surgery and arthroscopy through ongoing education and training.
- The main goals for TOSSM are:
- - to facilitate cooperation among sports medicine doctors from various international fields.
- - to deliver high-quality content through our Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy knowledge archive.
- - to provide online videos of arthroscopic surgeries, introducing a new concept in the field of arthroscopy.
- - to educate and expand sports medicine knowledge by holding fellow workshops.
Indonesian Orthopedic Society for Sport Medicine and Arthroscopy (IOSSMA) (SINCE 2024-04)
In the spirit of uniting orthopedic experts who have interest and knowledge in treating sports injuries and the use of arthroscopy, IOSSMA was established on September, 1st 2012 at the Harris Hotel Jakarta, Indonesia.
The organization is expected to focus on developing knowledge in handling sports injuries and arthroscopy in Indonesia, as well as becoming a source of information for doctors, a place to share knowledge so that it can provide the best service to many people.
IOSSMA has 367 members, and 75 Sports Injury Doctor Consultants in Indonesia.
IOSSMA Vision is to make IOSSMA a professional, independent and respected organization, both regionally and internationally, in services, education and research in the field of orthopedics, especially the treatment of sports injuries and arthroscopy.
- The main goals for IOSSMA are:
- - to organize an organization that can protect and fulfill the needs of all its members in developing and gaining knowledge in treating sports injuries and arthroscopy.
- - to establish a center for information, development and dissemination of knowledge knowledge of handling sports injuries and arthroscopy in accordance with developments in time and technology in the world.
- - to establish collaborative organizational relationships, both within and within abroad, especially in the field of orthopedics, sports injury management and arthroscopy.
